January 10, 2023: Decatur, IL 62522 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL) and the visiting Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL), saw MacArthur's basketball squad overcome Lanphier by a tally of 69-58.
With the victory, MacArthur improves its record to 16-1 on the campaign. The Generals host Springfield (Springfield, IL) to confront the Senators in a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Senators come into the challenge with a record of 7-12.
Next up, the Lions confront the Rochester Rockets (Rochester, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Lanphier will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 44-23 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL).
