Michigan High School Basketball - Mattawan crushes Plainwell
January 10, 2023: Mattawan, MI 49071 Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI), 65-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mattawan upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI) to clash with the Lancers in a Southwestern Michigan - West bout on Thursday, January 12. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Lakeshore lost 70-36 in their recent non-league bout against Otsego (Otsego, MI)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Otsego Bulldogs (Otsego, MI) in a Wolverine B bout, on Friday, January 13. Plainwell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 70-36 non-league win over Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI).
