Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA), 60-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Meridian upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Trojans host Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to play the Lyncs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, January 12. The Lyncs go into the bout with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Borderites play the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout, on Thursday, January 12. Blaine will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 67-32 league win over Mt. Baker (Deming, WA).
