The Highland Hawks basketball squad scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Red Mountain Mountain Lions to 42 in the Hawks non-league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a 6A Central challenge on Friday, January 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Queen Creek lost 39-17 in their recent league challenge against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)
