Colorado High School Basketball - Regis Groff tops Hinkley
January 10, 2023: Denver, CO 80249 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Regis Groff Fusion (Denver, CO) and the visiting Hinkley Thunderbirds (Aurora, CO), saw Regis Groff's basketball squad knock off Hinkley by a count of 54-43.
With the victory, Regis Groff upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Fusion travel to Rangeview (Aurora, CO) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Rangeview lost 53-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO)
Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Kennedy Commanders (Denver, CO) in a 5A/4A Denver Prep challenge, on Friday, January 13. Hinkley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Commanders come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 65-32 non-league loss to Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO).
