Nebraska High School Basketball - Omaha Nation overwhelms Winside

January 10, 2023: Macy, NE 68039

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) and the visiting Winside Wildcats (Winside, NE), saw Omaha Nation's basketball squad wallop Winside by a count of 52-31.

With the victory, Omaha Nation upgrades its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Marty Indian (Marty, SD) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Marty Indian won 67-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Walthill Blujays (Walthill, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Winside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Blujays come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 48-45 non-league win over Madison (Madison, NE).
