New Mexico High School Basketball - Springer topped by Santa Rosa
January 10, 2023: Springer, NM 87747 The Santa Rosa Lions basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Springer Red Devils to 36 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tularosa for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 11. Santa Rosa will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 50-22 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-6.
The Red Devils (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagle come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record.
