January 10, 2023: Oviedo, FL 32765 The Oviedo Lions (Oviedo, FL) basketball nipped the visiting Winter Springs Bears (Winter Springs, FL), 39-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (6-6) will now prepare for their test against Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-2 record. In their last test, Master's Academy got by Orangewood Christian (Maitland, FL), 24-16, in a non-league test.
The Bears now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Hagerty for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Winter Springs will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 30-22 non-league win over Lake Howell (Winter Park, FL). The Huskies record now stands at 8-3.
