New Mexico High School Basketball - Cuba edges Escalante
January 10, 2023: Tierra Amarilla, NM 87575 The Cuba Rams (Cuba, NM) basketball nipped the host Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM), 44-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rams (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record.
The Lobos now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Questa for a non-league test on Thursday, January 19. Escalante will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 54-13 non-league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
