January 10, 2024: Midland Park, NJ 07432 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bogota Buccaneers (Bogota, NJ) and the host Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ), saw Bogota's basketball squad hold off Midland Park by a tally of 66-65.
With the victory, Bogota improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Eastern Christian (North Haledon, NJ) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-6. Eastern Christian won 65-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Butler (Butler, NJ)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Park Ridge Owls (Park Ridge, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Midland Park will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 52-46 non-league win over Leonia (Leonia, NJ).
