The Amherst Broncos basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Overton Eagles to 49 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Broncos now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they host Alma for a C2 District 11 game on Tuesday, January 14. Amherst will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 64-32 non-league win over Axtell (Axtell, NE). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-1.
