The Buffalo Bison basketball squad (Buffalo, TX), was crushed 78-47 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mexia Black Cats (Mexia, TX)

With the victory, Mexia advances its record to 15-10 on the year. The Black Cats travel to Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX) to meet the Goats in a 3A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Goats enter the battle with a record of 7-9. Groesbeck lost 92-29 in their recent league battle against Westwood (Palestine, TX)

The Bison now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkhart for a 3A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Buffalo will meet a Elks squad coming off a 50-40 league loss to Teague (Teague, TX). The Elks record now stands at 7-13.
