January 10, 2025: Marion, OH 43302 The Ridgemont Golden Gophers basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Elgin Comets to 41 in the Golden Gophers league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Gophers now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to West Jefferson for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Ridgemont will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 74-54 league loss to Northeastern (Springfield, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Elgin falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Comets host Crestline (Crestline, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14.
