January 10, 2025: Sun Valley, ID 83353 Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Sun Valley Community Cutthroats (Sun Valley, ID), 51-27 in a league match.
With the victory, Oakley advances its record to 6-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Raft River (Malta, ID) to face the Trojans in a 2A Snake River match on Wednesday, January 15. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-4. Raft River won 62-37 in their recent league match against Shoshone (Shoshone, ID)
The Cutthroats now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley for a 2A Snake River match on Monday, January 13. Sun Valley Community will face a Vikings squad coming off a 80-35 league win over Murtaugh (Murtaugh, ID). The Vikings record now stands at 8-0.
