Missouri High School Basketball - Atlanta crushes La Plata
January 11, 2022: La Plata, MO 63549 Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host La Plata Bulldogs (La Plata, MO), 67-45 in a league bout.
With the win, Atlanta upgrades its record to 11-4 on the season. The Hornets travel to Schuyler County (Lancaster, MO) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, January 14. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Schuyler County lost 70-39 in their recent non-league bout against North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Marion County Mustangs (Philadelphia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 13. La Plata will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 53-40 non-league win over Bucklin-Macon County (Bucklin, MO).
