The Maple Valley Raiders basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] Bison to 46 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sargent County for a B Region 1 contest on Thursday, January 13. Maple Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 77-73 non-league win over Dunseith (Dunseith, ND). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.

The Bison (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND). The Warbirds enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Wyndmere/Lidgerwood was nudged by Four Winds/Minnewaukan (Fort Totten, ND), 59-48, in a non-league contest.
