Maryland High School Basketball - Northern edges Keyser
January 11, 2022: Accident, MD 21520 The Northern Huskies (Accident, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 66-64 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Huskies (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams go into the Western Maryland test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Southern got by Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD), 65-61, in a non-league test.
The Golden Tornado now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Tucker County for a non-league test on Friday, January 14. Keyser will encounter a Mountain Lions squad coming off a 60-27 league win over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 8-2.
