Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge winner over Keyser
January 25, 2022: Frostburg, MD 21532 The Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball felled the visiting Keyser Golden Tornado (Keyser, WV), 61-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Miners (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies go into the Appalachian test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Northern thwarted Hancock (Hancock, MD), 90-44, in a non-league test.
The Golden Tornado now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Berkeley Springs for a Potomac Valley AA test on Friday, January 28. Keyser will encounter a Indians squad coming off a 66-39 non-league win over Harman (Harman, WV). The Indians record now stands at 7-2.
