The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Fort Hill Sentinels to 58 in the Miners league triumph on Friday.

The Miners now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hancock for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17.

The Sentinels (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Maryland School for the Deaf (Frederick, MD). The Orioles enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.
