Texas High School Basketball - Liberty-Eylau tops Pleasant Grove
January 11, 2022: Texarkana, TX 75503 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Liberty-Eylau Leopards (Texarkana, TX) and the host Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX), saw Liberty-Eylau's basketball squad knock off Pleasant Grove by a count of 66-54.
With the victory, Liberty-Eylau upgrades its record to 12-4 on the campaign. The Leopards host Paris (Paris, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 4A Region II District 15 challenge on Friday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Paris won 57-46 in their recent league challenge against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX)
Next up, the Hawks play the North Lamar Panthers (Paris, TX) in a 4A Region II District 15 challenge, on Friday, January 14. Pleasant Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 52-43 league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX).
