Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), 65-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Linganore upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Lancers travel to Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a Central Maryland bout on Wednesday, January 12. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Governor Thomas Johnson won 41-35 in their recent league bout against Tuscarora (Frederick, MD)

Next up, the Rebels clash with the Williamsport Wildcats (Williamsport, MD) in a Central Maryland bout, on Tuesday, January 18. South Hagerstown will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 71-57 non-league loss to Catoctin (Thurmont, MD).
