Maryland High School Basketball - McDonogh knocked off by Calvert Hall

January 11, 2023: Owings Mills, MD 21117

The Calvert Hall Cardinals basketball team scored 66 points and held the host McDonogh Eagles to 48 in the Cardinals league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boys Latin for a MIAA A - Black contest on Friday, January 13. Calvert Hall will meet a Lakers team coming off a 66-37 league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD). The Lakers record now stands at 2-9.

The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD). The Dons enter the MIAA A - Black contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Loyola Blakefield ran past Pallotti (Laurel, MD), 75-55, in a non-league contest.
