January 11, 2023: Kenner, LA 70065 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) and the host Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA), saw St. Charles Catholic's basketball squad wallop Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy by a tally of 68-29.
With the victory, St. Charles Catholic improves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 2-7.
Next up, the Swamp Owls confront the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-18 season record.
