The Riverside-Martin Knights basketball team (Williamston, NC), dropped 48-39 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC)

The Aces now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Camden County for a 2A/3A Conference 15 battle on Friday, January 13. Holmes will confront a Bruins team coming off a 48-33 league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Bruins record now stands at 5-6.

The Knights (1-9) will now prepare for their outing against Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Pirates go into the 1A Conference 2 outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Perquimans defeated Gates County (Gatesville, NC), 39-35, in a league outing.
