Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders (Coal Township, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Weatherly (Weatherly, PA), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Red Raiders host Northumberland Christian (Northumberland, PA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Northumberland Christian won 55-39 in their recent league bout against Meadowbrook Christian (Milton, PA)

Next up, the clash with the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Weatherly will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a 13-1 record after their 72-42 non-league win over Shenandoah Valley (Shenandoah, PA).
