The Tri-County Cavaliers (Wolcott, IN) basketball nipped the host Caston Comets (Fulton, IN), 47-42 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Cavaliers (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 19-1 record. In their last test, Clinton Central got by Faith Christian (Lafayette, IN), 67-32, in a non-league test.

The Comets now own a 17-1 record. They play next when they host Bethany Christian for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Caston will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 70-19 league win over South Bend Career Academy (South Bend, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 15-3.
