January 11, 2024: Taos, NM 87571 The Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) basketball knocked off the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), 56-44 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (6-0) will now prepare for their test against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Artesia notched a victory over Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 49-36, in a non-league test.
The Rockets now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Belen for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Goddard will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 41-40 non-league loss to Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
