The Calumet New Tech Warriors nipped the host River Forest Ingots basketball squad by a final score of 65-64 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Warriors clash with the 21st Century Charter Cougars (Gary, IN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, January 13. Calumet New Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 10-2 record after their 70-66 non-league win over Indianapolis Crispus Attucks (Indianapolis, IN).
