Maryland High School Basketball - St. Andrew's Episcopal sneaks past Georgetown Prep
January 11, 2025: North Bethesda, MD 20852 The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) basketball edged the host Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD), 56-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a non-league bout on Sunday, January 12. St. Andrew's Episcopal will play a Mavericks team coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Georgetown Prep falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Little hoyas travel to Highland (Warrenton, VA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Sunday, January 12. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 17-5. Highland lost 69-57 in their recent non-league bout against St. John's (Washington, DC)
