The St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions (Potomac, MD) basketball edged the host Georgetown Prep Little Hoyas (North Bethesda, MD), 56-54 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they travel to Miller School of Albemarle for a non-league bout on Sunday, January 12. St. Andrew's Episcopal will play a Mavericks team coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-9.
