Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM), 62-55 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Taos upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Shiprock (Shiprock, NM) to face the Chieftains in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Chieftains enter the match with a record of 2-11. Shiprock lost 70-45 in their recent non-league match against Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM)

The Rockets now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roswell for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 14. Goddard will face a Coyotes squad coming off a 83-60 non-league win over Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 12-4.
