New Mexico High School Basketball - Taos knocks off Moriarty
February 15, 2025: Taos, NM 87571 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) and the visiting Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), observed Taos's basketball team overcome Moriarty by a score of 47-36.
The Tigers (13-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers come into the 4A District 2 challenge with a 5-18 record. In their last challenge, Los Alamos dropped by Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM), 53-42, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pintos battle the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a 4A District 2 bout, on Tuesday, February 18. Moriarty will attempt to move on its 8-16 season record. The Elks/Elkettes go into the bout with a 17-7 record after their 71-49 league win over Taos (Taos, NM).
