New Jersey High School Basketball - Linden holds off Newark Collegiate Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Linden Tigers basketball team scored a close 64-63 triumph over the Newark Collegiate Academy Panthers.

The Tigers (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ). The Lions go into the Union County contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Roselle Catholic nipped Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ), 69-60, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Newark Tech Terries (Newark, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Newark Collegiate Academy will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record.
