January 11, 2025: Devils Lake, ND 58301 The Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) basketball crushed the visiting Watford City Wolves (Watford City, ND), 72-46 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Firebirds now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Thompson for a A Region 2 bout on Monday, January 13. Devils Lake will play a Tommies team coming off a 65-35 non-league win over Grand Forks Central (Grand Forks, ND). The Tommies record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Watford City falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Trinity (Dickinson, ND) to play the Titans in a A Region 4 bout on Tuesday, January 14. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 6-6. Trinity won 59-39 in their recent non-league bout against Stanley (Stanley, ND)
