Georgia High School Basketball - Hilton Head Island nips St. Andrew's

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Hilton Head Island Seahawks basketball team scored a close 26-24 win over the St. Andrew's Lions.

The Seahawks (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks come into the AAAA Region 6 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, May River was tipped by Bishop England (Charleston, SC), 55-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. St. Andrew's will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The come into the contest with a 11-0 record after their 63-30 league win over Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA).
