Hilton Head Prep Dolphins (Hilton Head Island, SC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 50-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Hilton Head Prep advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Dolphins travel to McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA) to meet the Buccaneers in a non-league match on Friday, December 20. The Buccaneers enter the match with a record of 2-6. McIntosh County Academy lost 39-32 in their recent league match against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)

The Seahawks now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sumter for a non-league match on Friday, December 20. Hilton Head Island will meet a Gamecocks squad coming off a 37-29 non-league win over Lakewood (Sumter, SC). The Gamecocks record now stands at 4-2.
