Alaska High School Ice Hockey - South Anchorage gets by Kenai Central
January 11, 2025: Kenai, AK 99611 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) and the host Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), witnessed South Anchorage's ice hockey team defeat Kenai Central by a final score of 8-6.
The Wolverines (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Dimond (Anchorage, AK). The Lynx come into the Cook Inlet challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, Dimond by West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 10-2, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Kardinals battle the Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Kenai Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record.
