Alaska High School Ice Hockey - Chugiak knocks off South Anchorage
February 6, 2025: Chugiak, AK 99567 The Chugiak Mustangs ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting South Anchorage Wolverines to 2 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now hold a 14-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Anchorage for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 8. Chugiak will play a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Eagle River (Eagle River, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 19-1.
With the defeat, South Anchorage moves to 13-7 on the season. The Wolverines host Eagle River (Eagle River, AK) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Eagle River lost 6-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
