Massachusetts High School Basketball - Westfield holds off Chicopee Comp
January 12, 2023: Westfield, MA 01085 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Westfield Bombers (Westfield, MA) and the visiting Chicopee Comp Colts (Chicopee, MA), saw Westfield's basketball squad hold off Chicopee Comp by a tally of 66-59.
With the victory, Westfield improves its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Bombers travel to Chicopee (Chicopee, MA) to confront the Pacers in a Valley challenge on Monday, January 16. The Pacers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Chicopee won 48-43 in their recent league challenge against Commerce (Springfield, MA)
Next up, the Colts confront the Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) in a Suburban - North challenge, on Wednesday, January 18. Chicopee Comp will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 67-52 league loss to Pittsfield (Pittsfield, MA).
