Massachusetts High School Basketball - Chicopee Comp can't hold off Amherst-Pelham Regional
February 10, 2023: Amherst, MA 01002 The Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Chicopee Comp Colts to 51 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Friday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belchertown for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 15. Amherst-Pelham Regional will battle a Orioles team coming off a 52-43 non-league win over Ware (Ware, MA). The Orioles record now stands at 12-7.
The Colts (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chicopee (Chicopee, MA). The Pacers come into the non-league contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Chicopee was nudged by Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School (Holyoke, MA), 61-48, in a non-league contest.
