Massachusetts High School Basketball - Pittsfield fells Amherst-Pelham Regional
December 30, 2022: Pittsfield, MA 01201 Pittsfield Generals (Pittsfield, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA), 50-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Pittsfield upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Generals travel to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Mount Anthony won 98-54 in their recent non-league bout against North Warren Central (Chestertown, NY)
Next up, the Hurricanes play the Taconic Braves (Pittsfield, MA) in a Suburban bout, on Monday, January 2. Amherst-Pelham Regional will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 63-57 non-league win over Colonie Central (Albany, NY).
