January 12, 2024: Campbell, TX 75422 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dodd City Hornets (Dodd City, TX) and the host Campbell Indians (Campbell, TX), saw Dodd City's basketball squad wallop Campbell by a tally of 73-26.
With the victory, Dodd City improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Ector (Ector, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Ector won 57-46 in their recent league challenge against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy (Greenville, TX)
Next up, the Indians confront the Miller Grove Hornets (Cumby, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Campbell will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 6-20 record after their 53-47 league win over Fannindel (Ladonia, TX).
