Texas High School Basketball - Dodd City nips Fannindel
December 15, 2023: Dodd City, TX 75438 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dodd City Hornets (Dodd City, TX) and the visiting Fannindel Falcons (Ladonia, TX), saw Dodd City's basketball squad hold off Fannindel by a tally of 2-0.
With the victory, Dodd City improves its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Coram Deo Academy (Plano, TX) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 19. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Coram Deo Academy lost 71-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Trinity Valley (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Falcons play the Campbell Indians (Campbell, TX) in a 1A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Fannindel will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
