Georgia High School Basketball - Dacula fells Mill Creek

January 12, 2024: Dacula, GA 30019

Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA), 57-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Dacula upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Falcons host Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to clash with the Black Knights in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Black Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-10. Central Gwinnett lost 64-49 in their recent non-league bout against Etowah (Woodstock, GA)

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Mill Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 68-63 league win over Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA).
