January 12, 2024: Fall River, MA 02720 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Dartmouth Indians (South Dartmouth, MA) and the host Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA), saw Dartmouth's basketball squad hold off Durfee by a count of 77-71.
With the victory, Dartmouth upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA) to play the Trojans in a South East challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Bridgewater-Raynham won 56-54 in their recent non-league challenge against New Mission (Boston, MA)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) in a South East challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Durfee will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Whalers come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 58-48 non-league win over St. Mary's (Lynn, MA).
