Maine High School Basketball - Stearns overwhelms Greenville
January 12, 2024: Greenville, ME 04441 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) and the host Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), saw Stearns's basketball squad wallop Greenville by a tally of 62-31.
With the victory, Stearns improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Minutemen host Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Piscataquis lost 67-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley (Bingham, ME)
Next up, the Lakers confront the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 15. Greenville will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 52-33 non-league win over Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME).
