Maine High School Basketball - Schenck overwhelms Stearns
December 21, 2023: East Millinocket, ME 04430 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) and the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), saw Schenck's basketball squad wallop Stearns by a tally of 71-20.
With the victory, Schenck improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Greenville (Greenville, ME) to confront the Lakers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Lakers come into the challenge with a record of 1-4.
Next up, the Minutemen confront the Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 23. Stearns will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 55-35 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, ME).
