Texas High School Basketball - Haltom trounces Sam Houston
January 12, 2024: Arlington, TX 76014 The Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) basketball crushed the host Sam Houston Texans (Arlington, TX), 81-60 in Friday's league test.
The Buffalos (16-7) will now prepare for their test against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Warriors go into the 6A Region I District 8 test with a 21-5 record. In their last test, South Grand Prairie walloped Bowie (Arlington, TX), 76-54, in a league test.
The Texans now own a 4-18 record. They play next when they travel to Grand Prairie for a 6A Region I District 8 test on Tuesday, January 16. Sam Houston will encounter a Gophers squad coming off a 58-55 league win over Martin (Arlington, TX). The Gophers record now stands at 13-13.
