In Friday's league match, the visiting Pungo Christian Academy Raiders basketball team scored a tight 62-57 triumph over the Lawrence Academy Warriors.

In their next game, the Raiders meet the Northeast Academy Eagles (Lasker, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel match, on Tuesday, January 16. Pungo Christian Academy will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record.

With the defeat, Lawrence Academy moves to 9-6 on the year. The Warriors host Albemarle School (Elizabeth City, NC) to meet the Colts in a NCISAA Tarheel match on Tuesday, January 16.
