The Pungo Christian Academy Raiders basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Albemarle School Colts to 31 in the Raiders league triumph on Monday.
The Raiders now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence Academy for a NCISAA Tarheel contest on Tuesday, January 23. Pungo Christian Academy will meet a Warriors team coming off a 61-56 non-league win over John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 12-6.
The Colts (0-19) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC). The Rams enter the NCISAA Tarheel contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Ridgecroft was routed by Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC), 74-66, in a league contest.
