Mississippi High School Basketball - New Site fells Wheeler
January 12, 2024: Wheeler, MS 38829 New Site Royals (New Site, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS), 65-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Site upgrades its record to 14-5 on the season. The Royals travel to Booneville (Booneville, MS) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 16-2.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Baldwyn Bearcats (Baldwyn, MS) in a 1A Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Wheeler will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record.
